Clark Honors College, University of Oregon, invites applications for adjunct instructor positions in undergraduate world literature and undergraduate world history. Duties include teaching seven sections of a year-long sequence for freshmen and sophomores, advising responsibilities, and service as representatives of the Clark Honors College on senior thesis committees. Ph.D. degree in hand in a relevant field by August 1, 2013, and evidence of superior teaching ability required. Positions are for a limited duration but with the possibility of renewal for up to three years total based on need, funding, and performance. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis. Review of applications will take place as positions become available and continue until positions are filled. Positions filled through this pool may require a background check.
