The Department of Linguistics at the University of Oregon seeks to refresh applicants for an open pool, for the 2013-2014 academic year for temporary/short-term positions.  Positions may be one term (ten weeks) or multiple-terms not to exceed one year appointments.  There is the possibility of renewal for up to three years depending on need, funding and performance.

Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis and screened as positions become available.

Ph.D. in Linguistics or a related field required for instructional positions and an M.A. is required for research assistant positions and a Ph.D. for research associate positions.  We are particularly interested in screening for instructors of functional and cognitive linguistics as well as second language acquisition and foreign language teaching methods.  Successful candidates will have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and students from diverse backgrounds.
