Postdoctoral Research Associate in Experimental High Energy Physics with ATLAS
The Center for High Energy Physics at the University of Oregon invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in experimental high energy physics with the ATLAS experiment. Candidates should have Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field by the date of appointment and a demonstrated ability to perform high caliber, independent particle physics research as well as the capability to mentor students. The Oregon high energy physics group has a strong and exciting research program with major commitments to ATLAS at the LHC, the LlGO gravitational wave observatory, and detector development for future accelerator-based experiments. The successful candidate will be actively involved the ATLAS Liquid Argon calorimeter upgrade and searches for physics beyond the Standard Model.
