Physical Education and Recreation Department at the University of Oregon is seeking instructors to teach a broad range of physical activity credit and non-credit classes including but not limited to the following areas: Aerobics, Basketball, Flag Football, Group Cycling, Pilates, Swimming, Volleyball, and Weight Training, Cycling, Step, Kickboxing, Nutrition and Performance.  Bachelor’s degree required. In emergency or exceptional circumstances, significant professional experience in a relevant field may substitute for the degree.  Positions are part time limited duration, with the possibility of renewal depending on need, funding and performance.  Applications accepted on a continuous basis through 06/30/2013 with screening as positions become available.  CPR and First Aid certifications required as well as training and/or experience working with diverse populations.  Salary starts at $617/credit/term (depending on education and experience) along with a UO Recreation Center Facility User Pass for term of employment.
