Early Childhood CARES is opening an applicant pool for positions that may be part-time, temporary, or of limited duration. Appointments are for one year with the possibility of renewal for up to 3 years depending on need, funding and performance. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis and the pool will remain active for one year. Screening of applications will take place as positions become available and continue until positions are filled. Master’s degree and ASHA CCC-SLP (ASHA CFY-SLP consideration) in speech and language pathology required and eligibility for Oregon State licensure. Spanish speaking preferred. Some of the main duties include:
conduct evaluations with standardized and criterion referenced assessments in speech and language to preschool age children;
write individualized family service plans (IFSP);
provide speech and language services as specified on the IFSP;
provide information, support and training to parents, preschool teachers and other professionals in speech and language development and intervention.
