Computer and Information Science

The Computer and Information Science Department at the University of Oregon is developing a pool of adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in CIS and undergraduate courses in CIT minor during the 2011-12 academic year.  Positions are temporary or part-time for one term (ten weeks) or multiple-terms, not to exceed one-year, with the possibility of renewal for up to a total of three years, at the discretion of the hiring authority and taking into consideration need, funding and/or performance.  Successful applicants must have a M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Education, or a related field.  PhD, teaching and practical experience is a plus.
