OHMAC, Online Handbook for Managerial, Administrative, and Clerical Employees - http://ohmac.uoregon.edu/

OHMAC is a centralized web link site (hyperlinking to existing sites) that allows users to find the information they need to complete daily clerical and administrative tasks without having to know how the UO is organized or search website after website. OHMAC is organized alphabetically, by TOPIC and includes a FORMS page and a page of Frequently Asked Questions. An ever-growing list of topics relevant to the daily operation of the UO is found on this site.

For more information on this site, please contact Pam Farmer, Director, Organizational Development and Training (pfarmer@uoregon.edu), or Jake Vasey, HR Executive Assistant (jvasey@uoregon.edu).

Regarding Registration For Workshops

Please remember to register for all workshops (Unless otherwise noted). Human Resources delivers a dozen or more workshops every month. Keeping track of who is planning to attend which workshop, and orchestrating the logistics accordingly, is not always easy, but you can help us by remembering to register. By registering, you let us know that we should prepare a manual or packet of handouts for you, and you give us a way to contact you should we need to change the workshop location, date and/or time. It is frustrating, both for you and for us, if changes are made and we are unable to let you know. Please register, even if you are not absolutely sure you will be able to attend. You can register by calling Human Resources at (541) 346-3159 or by sending e-mail to Kayla Hinds. When registering by e-mail, include your name, department, e-mail address and phone number, as well as the name(s) and date(s) of the workshop(s) you are planning to attend. (Giving us your e-mail address is important since some systems on campus do not automatically include this information within the message or header).

Employee Training Record

The Training Record Form (DOC) is provided for those departments who are interested in keeping a record of training for their employees. Keeping track of training provided for and attended by employees, and documenting that for the employee's file, can be of significant assistance both in assessing employee performance and planning for employee development. Such a Training Record would be kept in your supervisory file for the employee.
