TO QUALIFY YOU MUST HAVE:
... three years of office experience which included two years at full performance level and experience generating documents; and
... lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
* Experience with lead work or supervision.
* Excellent judgment, leadership, and organizational skills.
* Familiarity with Banner transfer articulation and articulation standards, document imaging (Electronic Data Exchange [EDI]), Data Warehouse, job scheduling software (Application Manager), and international and online articulation applications.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position serves as leadworker in the records section of the Office of the Registrar, coordinates work in the area of transfer articulation (domestic and international), and maintains accurate transfer catalogs and associated tables. Duties include:
... updating annually the Oregon Community College, OUS Institutions, and Oregon Private Universities' Articulation Agreements tables and making changes to current courses in Banner transfer catalogs; maintaining transfer catalogs in Banner Student Information System, updating based on quarterly curriculum reports; building transfer information for schools not in Banner (domestic and international); assisting in developing online information and maintaining accuracy of transfer articulation-related information on the web; coordinating the evaluation of military transfer and unofficial articulations for recruited athletes; awarding bulk credits for AHA study-abroad students; articulating transfer law credits under the direction of the Law School; serving as a resource for campus in the transfer articulation area.
... monitoring workflow in transfer articulation and assisting supervisors in establishing standards for quantity and quality of work performed; solving problems; developing training materials and documentation related to transfer articulation.
... reviewing transfer articulation error reports and activity reports on a weekly basis; correcting errors and providing follow-up training with staff as needed.
... monitoring incoming EDI transcripts and overseeing the routing to campus departments; coordinating incoming AP and IB scores and routing to campus departments; creating transcript templates for document imaging.
... testing system upgrades in transfer articulation areas to maintain accuracy of Banner tables, investigating problems and developing and testing service requests to Information Services.
... collaborating with other staff to resolve degree audit encoding issues and regression and repetition transfer issues; serving as back up to other functions within Registrar's Office; sharing responsibility for phone monitoring and lunch coverage; participating in meetings with staff.
Position may be assigned to lead the work of classified staff, including orienting and training new employees, assigning work, communicating standards and reviewing work for conformance to standards; providing informal assessments of performance standards.
Position requires ability to greet students at the front counter and escort them to the work station. Many specialized tasks often need to be accomplished under time constraints and with frequent interruptions by students and their parents, co-workers, university faculty and staff, and colleagues from other institutions.
